Greetings From Mars
2015
This series follows the story of two astronauts visiting Mars for the first time—not as explorers, but as modern-day tourists. Their journey reflects the theme of space exploration while examining our evolving relationship with images in an era of constant connectivity.
Traveling across worlds, like traveling across the globe, has become an effortless pursuit of the exotic and new. Yet, it’s accompanied by an irresistible need to share experiences in real time. We’ve shifted from “I think, therefore I am” to “I document, therefore I am,” raising questions about the essence of exploration.
Has the experience of remoteness vanished, even on a distant planet? Do we seek to immerse ourselves in new environments, or simply capture images to affirm our existence?
